The University‘s dormitories are available for accommodation during your studies.
In total KTU has 12 dormitories where all undergraduate, master‘s and PhD students, as well as University guests and staff may be accommodated. From 2013, dormitory No. 5 is announced an International Residence. However, international students also live in dormitories No. 2, No. 3, No. 7, No. 8 and others.

All the rooms (single or double) are equipped with all the necessary furniture for life and studies: a bed, a chair, a desk and a wardrobe. For international students bedding is provided. There is a kitchen with a cooker, a hob, fridge freezer and meal preparing area. All the residents of the dormitories have the Internet access. Also, free laundry and drying facilities are available on the site.
The monthly rent prices at KTU student dormitories are fixed.

Once you arrive to the dormitory, the dormitory manager will issue the deposit payment invoice. For this case you should indicate your name, surname, personal id number, address and telephone number. Students should pay the deposit via bank transfer. Use the internet bank. After making a payment students must provide the dormitory manager with Bank statement.
The price of deposit depends on the room the student chooses to live in.

Beds with mattress, a desk, a night stand with drawers, a closet and chairs are provided in the room. Also, there are various extra pieces of furniture in individual rooms.

It takes about a week. Students need to sign an application form for the internet usage. The application form will be provided by dormitory manager.
Yes, but not in all dormitory rooms. Foreign students can use two fridges at the ground floor kitchens.
You will get a pillow, a duvet, sheets, covers and a towel.
You will find pots, pans, silverware, plates, cups, bowls, microwave and other utensils at the ground floor kitchens.
Yes, you can wash your clothes for free. You can also dry and iron your clothing there.
Dormitory residents can enter the dormitory 24/7.
If a student wants to invite a friend to visit him/her at the dormitory, the guests can stay at the dormitory from 8 a.m. till 11 p.m. (Monday – Wednesday and Sunday) and from 8 a.m. till 12 p.m. (Thursday – Saturday).
Guests are registered at the guest book and students take responsibility of their invited guests.

The dormitory has a gym, a table tennis and bicycle storage premises. Students use shared kitchens, showers, basins and toilets system.
