European Internal Audit – Trainee Programme
The ECB, together with Central Banks of the Eurosystem and National Competent Authorities from the Single Supervisory Mechanism (SSM) is launching a unique trainee programme in the field of internal audit. As a trainee you will gain an insight into the Eurosystem’s and the SSM’s activities and contribute to their missions.
The programme will give you the opportunity to work 12 months, from 01/10/2018 to 30/09/2019, at the heart of the Eurosystem and SSM. The first two months will be dedicated to on-the-job and classroom training at the ECB in Frankfurt, to get you ready for two assignments of 4 months each, to gain Practical experience in one Eurosystem Central Bank (CB) or National Competent Authority (NCA). Within a year, you will have the opportunity to work in up to three CBs/NCAs and participate to audits in the area of Euro Banknotes, Payment Systems, IT, Monetary Policy or Banking Supervision.
Candidates should:
• be at least 18 years old;
• be a national of a Member State of the EU or of an acceding country;
• have completed at least a first cycle qualification (bachelor’s degree);
• be fluent in English and in another official language of the EU.
