Nominal Sponsor Scholarships and the scholarships established by companies are awarded to active students who achieve high academic results.
Sponsor Scholarship awardees are being selected by competition, which procedure is defined in the scholarship establishment contract and approved by sponsors or by University’s Rector. Competition for Sponsor Scholarships is being announced in spring and autumn.
Application form and other documents for the competition will be updated in the Academic Information System (AIS) after the competition is announced.
The nearest Sponsor Scholarship contest will take place from 2024 August 30th to September 5th, 23.59
Ignitis scholarship (3 000 euros)
Students, studying in the 1st or 2nd year of Bachelor studies in one of the following study programmes: Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy.
Priority is given to students, who have have gained field volunteering or project experience in the past 12 months.
Litgrid scholarship (1 500 euros)
First-year bachelor students, studying in one of the following KTU study programmes: Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Automation and control, Electronics and Electrical Engineering.
The student’s entrance GPA is 8 or higher.
Litgrid scholarship (1 000 euros)
Second-year bachelor students, studying in one of the following KTU study programmes: Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Automation and control, Electronics and Electrical Engineering.
The student’s last semester GPA is 7.3 or higher.
Thermo Fisher Scientific Baltics scholarship (up to 2 200 euros)
For bachelor students in their third or fourth year of studies from the Faculty of Chemical Technology and other faculties, who wish to conduct/prepare their final theses at Thermo Fisher Scientific Baltics.
Thermo Fisher Scientific Baltics scholarship (up to 4 000 euros)
For master students in their first-year of studies from the Faculty of Chemical Technology and other faculties, who wish to conduct/prepare their final theses at Thermo Fisher Scientific Baltics.
Vilniaus šilumos tinklai scholarship (3 000 euros)
First-year bachelor students, studying in one of the following KTU study programmes: Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy.
Priority is given to students who have gained volunteering or project field experience.
