Previous workplace and position: STprojektai – Design Engineer
Areas of expertise and career experience: Energy project development and management; management of electrical engineering design projects, including work related to railway, infrastructure, and national security projects; electrical systems design; and project coordination with public authorities, institutions, and private individuals.
Expectations for students: I expect the mentee to be open to communication, actively engage in the mentoring process, and feel comfortable asking questions. Mutual respect, honesty, accountability for agreed actions, and a willingness to develop are important to me.
My motivation/personal goal for participating in the mentorship programme: I would like to share my experience and help the mentee assess their career direction, strengths, and possible next steps more clearly. When taking my first steps in my career, I faced many doubts and questions. Therefore, I would like to help the mentee navigate this stage more easily, make decisions with greater confidence, and avoid some of the mistakes I made myself.
