Areas of expertise and career experience: Management of people, teams, projects, and departments. I recruit and support the professional growth of IT specialists in an international company, so I can help students understand the market from an employer’s perspective: what we look for in junior candidates, what a strong CV and interview look like, and what to focus on during the first years of a career in order to grow faster than others.
Expectations for students: Proven willingness to learn – it is important not only to say that you are motivated, but also to be able to demonstrate that you learn and do more than what is strictly required.
My motivation/personal goal for participating in the mentorship programme: To share knowledge, help students pursue a career in IT, or motivate them to consider an IT career that does not necessarily have to involve programming.
