Vilnius Tech, Lithuanian Maritime Academy – Head of the Electrical Engineering Study Programme, Senior Instructor in High Voltage Systems on Ships, Associate Professor teaching various study subjects.

Areas of expertise and career experience: Electrical power engineering, reliability of distribution networks, integration of renewable energy sources, and the application of game theory in energy systems. Experience in national and international research projects, academic leadership and study programme coordination, cooperation with industry, and international partnerships.

Personal strengths: Strategic thinking, responsibility, the ability to inspire and bring a team together, creativity in finding solutions, and the ability to combine scientific knowledge with practical application.

Expectations for students: Openness to new ideas, motivation to grow and learn, and responsibility for achieving personal goals. I expect active dialogue, initiative, and readiness to accept constructive feedback.

My motivation/personal goal for participating in the mentoring programme: My motivation for participating in the mentoring programme is to share my academic and professional experience, help young professionals take their first career steps with greater confidence, and support their growth as leaders. I would also like to inspire them to take an active role in their own development.

Interests and other information about me: I am interested in sustainable energy and technological innovation, interdisciplinary solutions, and educational initiatives. In my free time, I focus on strengthening academic communities, professional development, and cultural and educational activities that build stronger connections between science, business, and society. I enjoy travelling, discovering new flavours and traditions, and reading books of various genres.
