Previous workplaces and positions: In line with my studies, I have also worked at several kindergartens. As a student, I would cover for kindergarten teachers during their summer holidays.
Areas of expertise and career experience: I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Childhood Pedagogy and Primary Education from Vilnius University (VU) and a Master’s degree in Education Sciences from Kaunas University of Technology (KTU). Although I have completed my studies, I continue to collaborate with a KTU lecturer, participate in various training courses, and deepen my knowledge of educational issues.
I have created educational posters that were published by a publishing house. I am currently collaborating with another publisher after winning a competition, and together with two other authors, we are developing the Lithuanian language textbook Kartu for Grades 1–4.
For the past two years, I have delivered training sessions for preschool, pre-primary, and primary school teachers on the use of information and communication technologies in education. I actively express my views on educational matters and have participated in the Meilė Lukšienė Prize competition and discussion for two consecutive years.
Personal strengths: I am confident speaking in front of large audiences and enjoy collaborating with others.
Expectations for students: A willingness to collaborate, patience, and respect.
My motivation/personal goal for participating in the mentorship programme: I love my work, but I would also like to work with students, not only children, and share my knowledge and advice with them. I believe this would be another opportunity for me to deepen my own knowledge and continue growing.
