Areas of expertise and career experience: “I am a computer science specialist currently working as an IT project management manager Kongsberg Digital AS in Norway, a international company providing software and digital solutions for the commercial navy, oil, renewable energy and utility companies. I entered a doctoral studies of computer science engineering.
I graduated from the Lithuanian University of Education with a bachelor’s degree in Informatics and qualified as an informatics teacher. Later, I continued my studies at the Kaunas University of Technology, in the Master’s program “Information Technologies of Distance Learning”. I participated in study exchange programs at “University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria” in Austria and “National Tsing Hua University (NTHU)” in Taiwan, and I did an internship as a systems programmer at “IWMAC AS” company in Norway, according to The International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience (IAESTE) program. During my studies, I also prepared a scientific article “E. learning environments for learning Internet technologies’.
2017-2019 actively participating in the activities of Triondelago Lithuanian community “Baltai” and being a member of the board, I contributed to the nurturing and preservation of the Lithuanianness of Norwegian Lithuanians and their children.
I help implement IT projects and cooperate with the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in Norway, Kaunas University of Technology, Vilnius Business College, Vilnius Gediminas Technical University and other educational institutions and organizations.”
Expectations for students: Curiosity.
My motivation/personal goal for participating in the mentoring programme: I have participated in the LT Big Brother project and KTU GUIDed as a mentor. I would like to continue to accumulate experience by sharing my knowledge, and to inspire students to achieve their goals and make them concrete. This is an opportunity for each of us to grow.
Interests and other information about me: I am an adrenaline fan, so I bravely tried myself in various fields. I like to do sport dances on the ground and skydive.
