Lorenzo Piazzi

Previous workplaces and positions: Since 2011, I have worked as a cultural entrepreneur in the cultural and creative industries, managing a network of private libraries entirely dedicated to Design history in Milan, Shanghai, Istanbul, and Kaunas. I am actively involved in several international European projects that bridge Design and technology, delivering products and services in the fields of digital transformation, smart cities, and citizen engagement. In parallel, I serve as an Associate Professor at the KTU Design Center and run the DLAB laboratory at KTU MLAB.

My motivation/personal goal for participating in the mentorship program: Over the past five years, I have consistently involved students in my projects, with the primary goal of preparing them for long-term career opportunities and successful integration into professional teams.

Hobbies and other information about me: Wildlife enthusiast, former Boy Scout (11 years), avid traveler, librarian, collector, and passionate kitesurfer.
