ESN KTU is active since September 2009 and has already earned a name of an active section in Lithuania.
Our main objective – welfare of foreign students (mentorship programme) and encouragement of KTU Lithuanian students to leave by participation in student exchange programme ERASMUS, therefore we actively cooperate with KTU International Relations Office.
Members of ESN KTU are former or future students who were not frightened by challenges they faced participating in ERASMUS exchange programme and went to study for a semester or two at the foreign university of their choice. Most often the students return inspired by the spirit of ERASMUS and share their thoughts and ideas how to make leisure time for KTU foreign students even more interesting.
We ensure smooth integration of international students into the KTU community. We make sure that their stay in Lithuania creates warm memories and the time spent here is the time of their life. We organise various events (travelling to Palanga, Vilnius, intercultural evenings, sauna nights, game nights, etc.) and provide help and assistance on various challenges related to the University and life in Kaunas, Lithuania.
ESN KTU is an active participant of the projects at national and international level, such as Responsible Party, PRIME project related to academic challenges, ESN Diary and ESN Card projects.
